The listing, iPod Touch 2nd Gen READ!!! has ended.

This is an iPod touch 2nd gen. This is a weird one. It was my sons but he now has an iPad. This works. It's been restored and there isn't any major damage. Just normal wear. The issue we have been having is the scene dims out and you can see everything and still move but no back light and it only does it when it wants to. That is the only issue we have had with it so I will say this is an "AS IS" auction. Could be for parts or useful to someone who can repair them :) also it is 8gb. No camera.

i know regular mail to canada for a 12 pound package is 8-9dlrs. hope this was helpful. anything more for shipping cost 20-35dlrs. now i know sometimes on my cell phone it will do the same thing, and i found out that i had to go adjust the brightness again. it does it so often. try checking the brightness when it does this. F&W

Online I think. Gives you the option to use the gin. I'm on my iPhone and it doesn't show me the gin

I don't have a cable or adapter for it. We use my iPhone charger. But If bids are high enough I may be able to purchase a cord for it :)

how soon does the backlight go off after it is on? and how do you get it back on?

See that's where it is tricky. It goes off sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. And when it does it comes back on you lock it and unlock it. And then it may go back out again. But you can still run the screen and see what your doing. It's very odd. That's why I suggested for parts or anyone who knows how to fix it :)

@aaron, o i know it wouldn't weigh 12pounds, it was basically giving her a rough estimate of what an item 12pounds cost sending to canada. you asked if she would do free shipping to canada. with this item regular shipping and a confirmation #. it would cost around 4-5dlrs. and thats with regular mail. anything different for shipping cost a lot. that dimming in and out isn't nothing. it may need a new battery or you have to keep adjusting the brightness. good luck to all.

Yes it holds a charge just fine. The only issue we have had is the screen dimming out. It's been in the drawer for about 6 months now. He uses his iPad.
