Vintage handcrafted crocheted infant capelet created either by my grandmother or great-grandmother. It is at least 60 years old and in very good condition. It has lived in a closed cedar chest for decades and has a very tiny stain the color of tea which you can clearly see in the photo. That has been taken into account with starting credits.

The newborn cape is an openworked design that was very popular at that time and is a classic ecru color. It measures approximately 16-1/2" across from end to end and has a faded pink satin ribbon at the neck closure. It is the real thing and not faux-vintage. It would be so sweet on a collectible antique doll!
