They were made to look like a Morgan. There are hundreds of designs out there that I’ve seen. Probably hundreds more I haven’t seen. Definitely a big collector market out there for them.

Hey, Andy! Thank you for the question. These are not genuine Morgan Dollars. They are collectible novelties. That’s why GIN is less than $9 per coin. They are CopperNickel much like an Eisenhower Dollar Coin. Possibly silver coated, but I’m not sure about that.

If they were real Morgan’s there would be over 350,000 points worth of silver alone, not including any sort of premium. I don’t believe there is any silver

I do not believe they are silver, that’s why the GIN price comes out to only $9 each. Possibly silver plated.
