Description
The listing, Confederate $1,000 Bill has ended.
The reproduction of a $1,000 dollar Confederate bill was printed for the Civil War centennial in the 1960's on parchment papers giving the bill a look and feel of an antique bill. The $1,000 bill was the highest denomination bill of the Confederate States of America issued in 1861. Only 607 bills were issued when the CSA capitol was still in Montgomery, Alabama. Pictured are Sen. John C. Calhoun and President Andrew Jackson.
