The listing, E-Reader - Sharper Image Literati eReader has ended.

This is an ebook reader by the Sharper Image. It has a 7" screen, full color, and easy navigation buttons. Comes with some books pre-loaded. Takes an SD card for extended memory. I updated the software on it so it's up to date and can sync with your ebooks on your computer. It works great and has everything you need, just use your own usb cord to connect or transfer books with an SD card.

It does run PDF, but I'm not sure about free library downloading. It might work with some services but if you can download the book files and transfer them it should work. It also works with internet newspaper subscriptions, there's a service to sync those. I didn't use that but I know it's on there.

It uses KOBO book store to download books. It is not touch screen. Thanks for looking.
