Height: 6 - 12 Inches
Bloom Season: Spring/Summer
Environment: Sun/Dry
Zones: 3-10
All Regions of North America

African Daisy Dimorphotheca Sinuata comes from South Africa, and it has naturalized throughout the United States. The plant has blooms that are 2-4 inches across in brilliant shades of white, yellow, and orange. The flowers will close when in a shaded area and close at night. This flower is an excellent variety to sow in early spring, as it will produce extravagant color for weeks. Suggested use is roadsides, floral gardens, arid regions, mixtures, open fields and rock gardens.

African Daisy Dimorphotheca Sinuata likes hot-dry weather similar to what it is where they come from, and it is very drought tolerant. At the beach African Daisy can tolerate some cool humid areas. African Daisy can be a good winter annual to plant in zones 10-13 and a good spring/summer annual in zones 8-10. This plant will die at frost, but it can re-grow following spring if seed falls on bare ground.
