The listing, THE MOST STUNNING OPAL EARRINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN! has ended.

I have had these about three years, and as lovely as they are, i wear my cross earrings more. So I figured I would put these up for auction and hope they go to a home where they can be loved and used and passed down the family line. They are VERY sturdy, and the colors in the are amazing. And I do know I payed over a hundred for them three years ago. Being used I am sure they are not worth near that much now. But they are still in brand new condition, as I take very good care of my jewelry. I am unsure if they are real or simulated, sadly because my memory is not my best friend lately. The colors that come from these are VERY eye catching and the color differences in the pictures are me using the flash on my Phone and some without. For these I really wish I had a good camera, because i just was not able to capture the glow and movement. Maybe Listia should install a video option, just a thought....Please bid high on these guys, they meant a lot to me and i want them to mean a lot to you, because they are so very worth it!

We have a smoke free home. We are pet friendly, but I keep everything I plan to post, and do post, in a large tub, so they cannot get to it.

I walk in a store, and every opal in the place, jumps up and starts yelling and whistling to get my attention!!!! I have been very fortunate with opals, and these are just beautiful!

Many people have deep connections with Opals (including myself), even those who it is not their personal birthstone. Opal is a VERY mystical stone. They know hoe it is created, and even the ones that are simulated have that pull although not as strong. Despite the fact they know so much of how they are created, no one can explain the pull they have. I believe it is because of their beauty of course, but I also believe it is due to them being linked to the moon. Take one of you opals outside during a full moonlight night when the moon is bright and you will see exactly what I mean!

First off, welcome to Listia! Secondly, I am sorry your sick, but I can relate and you do have a great attitude about it and that's half the battle! thirdly, I have been working with stones ever since i was a id. I used to collect rocks and found out a bit later in life that the ricks i had in my collection that i was picking out (I was very picky), were healing rocks/crystals. I found most of them on the gulf coast beach when I was a kid. I am glad you believe, that means the stones will trust in you too! Your special, i can feel it.

Lol, I realized that i'm too much of a goddess for men and am quite happy with out them (unless i need something fixed ) and have so much more happy time to do the things i love doing .Men for the most part seem to just damp my power influx ; ) I'm not sour on men at all , i love men but love being single more :)

Apparently its bad luck to buy them for yourself but good luck if someone else buys them for you....there were a pair of opal earrings my mum bought herself and she lost them all the time...but always seemed to find them...so maybe its a mixture of both....anyway....if you believe in that sort of thing.....but this might not even apply to synthetic ones...anyhow....F&W!!!

I have never heard that, and I have several sets of synthetic and real opals i bought for myself and I don't think I have had any bad luck. I mean life happens, but thats what life is, ups and downs, the ups give us breaks to enjoy, and the downs build our character. I kinda like both, maybe thats just me, lol.

It does say that, but it doesnt say synthetic or genuine does it? It still is the most beautiful opal I have ever seen, lol. But there are more then one kinds of opals.

As I stated in the description, I do not think they are genuine and never claimed they were. I believe they are simulated, witch surprisingly are more expensive than the genuine ones. Look it up if you are unsure. I payed a lot for these when I first bought them, but no they did not come with papers.

How stunning are these, because I'll only bid on them if they are the most stunning. I have worked in the opal mines of Vietnam for almost 7 years now, and have seen some pretty stunning opals.

My words were the most beautiful opals "I" have ever seen, and since I have never even been to Vietnam, I cannot speak for your issue. You see the pictures, if you do not feel they are up to your standards, then please do not bid. However to be honest, you look like you took your picture from video camera, and if so, your not even old enough to have worked anywhere for 17 years, lol. Very Pretty, My grandmother was afraid of opals because of their "Mystical Powers" and it was her birthstone, you couldn't even wear any opal jewelry into her home because she would tell you "get them out of here NOW" , already a fan and watching.

Awww, that makes me sad. They could have helped her so much. There is nothing to be afraid of. They come from the earth God made himself. Except the synthetic ones, but even they have some of the natural in them i think. I may be wrong on that. If someone knows for sure, let me know please, lol. Are these set in sterling or in gold or what kind of metal? The synthetic opals are definitely prettier just because they are manipulated by man, but the real opals can be just as beautiful. I personally love the opals known as the black opals because the colors on the black opals are absolutely stunning but these earrings that you have listed are certainly full of fire for sure. Great listing. Would love to know about the metal though because I have issues with some metals in my ears..

This type is very sparkly, I have a couple of sets & they are super in person. I seem to remember this type has a name like Fire Opal cause they are so bright, not red. Great auction! Fan!!
