I believe this once had an attached lid. Looking at the Gold Trim around the top, you can see that a top that was once most likely attached to the tiny box is now gone.

However, it still makes a great little ring or knick knack box to add a little Victorian charm to one's dresser.

There are no marks or stamps, but its in the English Victorian style.

The little bowl stands on three little legs whose bases mimick the padded feet on Victoiran Furniture.

It is very beautiful and very old. I'm updating my house to a more modern look, but this use to be my little odds and ends vanity box.

Diameter of bowl measures about ~2 1/4" across and the whole thing is about 2" high.
