Blast from the past..........1976 to be exact! This necklace, still new in the box it came in, is from the bicentennial craze of all things red, white and blue in 1976. This piece is a glass cabachon on a gold toned filigree pendant, 3/4" x 1/2". It hangs from a 16" gold toned chain. The box is vinyl coated and hinged with a stars and stripes pattern. The necklace is perfect. the box shows a bit of fading and some foxing on the top, but still completely solid. In great shape for being stored away in a jewelry box for 37 years!
