From 1983 to 1997 (14 years) the u.s. mint made what they called prestige sets usually celabrating the 200th anniversary of something or an event !!! this one is for the 200th anniversary of the u.s. congress=called the proclaiming the triumph of democracy !!! the set has 2 extra coins from what a proof set would have,the extra congressional silver dollar and half dollar along with the kennedy half dollar !!! only 14 years so would be a fairly easy set to collect as compared to a set of franklin halfs,only 14 years of these prestige sets were made and they are very nice and unique set !!! i want you all to google or bing this set you will learn alot more than i can tell you thats for sure !!! and for shipping i will only need you to help me with $1.50 since we joined stamps.com it is cheaper !!! click on the large photo to get a super up close look at that photo and really see what the set looks like !!! thank you !!!!
