The listing, reproduction ink painting of a cat,by Lucy Baker has ended.
Please read carefully ,this photo is of the original artwork , which has been sold. What I am selling is a photocopy of the original, which can be on either glossy or matte(regular) paper ,I print them at the printing store. It is an unlimited edition(open) which means I can make any amount(as opposed to a limited edition which means I only do a certain number.) I am trying this way to make prints, basically like a legal sized printed photocopy, so anyone can afford my artwork. The photocopy you get will actually look cleaner than this photo of the original, that's because I did this image a long time ago, But yours will be brand new.I've been an artist forever(well, let's just say a long time!) I've exhibited all over the place. The shipping includes handling, I wish I could do it for free , but I can't. I can send it rolled in a tube to your address if you like ,The tube costs me$ so that's part of the handling(shipping) charge. It is copyrighted under my name, and is my "intellectual property". . Why did I paint this cat? I love cats! All kinds! I've had many cats in my lifetime and they are great friends and companions. Who were my influences ? Matisse, and Picasso would be the ones who most influenced this picture, but I also love Chinese calligraphy and Japanese woodcuts, especially cats and horses.Hope you like it!
