The listing, Toshiba 500GB SATA Laptop Hard Drive has ended.

I replaced my Hard Drive for a Solid State Drive and now my old hard drive is up for grabs! It will be shipped via flat rate box, if the credits go high enough, I will cover half the shipping charge!

It can be used to replace the current drive inside your laptop, but there is not room or connectors for multiple hard drives inside your laptop.

when I added the comment, I also updated the shipping. And as far as desktops go, if it is a sata board, you can get a 3.5" bracket so this 2.5" drive can fit in the 3.5" slots on a desktop, and the plugs for it are exactly the same! So there is no straight forward answer. For 6 bucks on ebay you can get the necessary bracket

If you have a hard drive that died, and are replacing it, the answer is yes. But you would need the install cd's from your laptop, which can be ordered online if you don't have them already. The drive up for bid is blank. As far as if you are trying to add more space by having 2 hard drives in the laptop, there is not space within that laptop to have 2 hard drives
