Antique and Stunning Carved Lion Made of Rock or Marble?? Found at a 50+ years hoarding sale I found on craigslist this week. I managed to buy this despite the fact the woman did not want to sell anything and I was one of her first customers:) LOL. I am so limited on space or I would keep this for sure. It has a 55 marked on the bottom of one paw but I do not know what it means. Thanks for looking!!

It is about 3 pounds and solid. It is marble or some kind of rock it the sound and feel remind me of a granite countertop??
