Still activated so you will get great free satellite channels until whenever...some people report that they have gotten second-hand units and received free continuous service indefintely. No guarantees though. I've had it for two months from an estate sale and it still has activation.

I should do more research on what people are interested in...just wanted to bring something different to the table. Perhaps I will continue and offer free shipping on the bigger items if the auction reaches a certain point. I have seen people do that. Please dont go. Not everyone can afford free shipping, myself included. There are only a few things I offer free shipping on, and thats gift cards. I always ask for shipping, hey, I dont have the money, and if people dont like it, they dont have to big. But if your offering things people want, they will bid anyway. It really is a cool site, get yourself established, charge shipping (but only exact), and have fun. Its a great way to clear your home of extra clutter and be able to win someone else' clutter in the mean time. Ive gotten some pretty cool things on here, and have made some good friends. Come on, stick it out...please? You have to after you get all my credits for this thing. lol

Well, I hope you win. I will not be listing anymore. After I use what credits I have, I'm oughta here. My items would only put me in the hole with free shipping...like my Vector Storm Tracker or Canon BJC-85 Printer. And I already have mp3 players, headsets, and earbuds, and all those little electronics with almost no shipping cost. Anyway, I hope you win. This has been interesting.

Woo hoo, Ive been wanting to get one of these so bad. It sucks when your 30 miles offshore and have nothing to listen to. We have a stereo on-board, but you dont get to many stations that far off (like...NONE). lol

This is great. Can it be used on a boat? In other words will it work independent of any other equipment?

I don't see way not. All you need is an outlet source for power and speakers/headset with volume control that plug into the back of the unit. The antenna can be used indoor or outdoor...but you may want make sure it is secured in place on a boat...I would use a velcro strip. ROCK THAT BOAT!!!!

And by the way, you probably aren't screwed on the auction you offered free shipping on---- a lot of people like to wait until close to the end of an auction to bid. I've also noticed that auctions with free shipping tend to get a lot more bids than auctions where the bidder has to pay shipping, so I'm sure you'll get plenty more bids! :)
