I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm just not familiar at all with books. But what all can this one do? Like are you able to download apps etc like an iPad or android tablet? Thanks!

No it's not dear. I'm not all that tech smart either. This is just a reader though. No games from what I undertand. But from what I know you can purchase many books, borrow from the library and download some freebie books. Hope that helps.

No hon. This is one of the first nooks and is just an e-reader. Got it for my husband and then he turned right around and got an ipad so it was hardly used. Plus we are really more old fashioned. I like to hold a real book.
