This is actually a reproduction of a Civil War era CSA calvary sword. Confederate States of America. They are made to look a little aged but are modern made. Many Civil War collectors go nuts for these since since you're pretty much never going to come across a real Civil War era one for less than $5,000 in this kind of shape.

You can look on CSAsword.com they have this sword on there. They run about $50 new and yours looks to be almost new if not in perfect condition.

If this is a reproduction CSA Calv. Sword from the 60s you REALLY have something there. I wouldn't let it go for anywhere near what you are starting it off for.
