Someone did bring this up - this is the educational version...HOWEVER per Adobe's site there is no difference between the two except pricing. Except I somehow got charged fully so I didn't even get that. My loss your gain!

Dunno why it makes any difference since per Adobe's website as of CS all products are for both personal and commercial work. All activation information is included and it has never been registered.

You just never fill out the registration when it pops up. Activation doesn't rely on registration.

You can activate educational versions without registering. Registering and Activating are two different things.

It did...I'm trying to find out why - a bid must have been pulled but I wasn't notified. This is a legit copy. I'm a graphic designer and bought this full suite a couple years back. We upgraded to CS4 but bought the entire suite instead of upgrades so I thought I'd throw this one up! Best of luck!

yeah how does that work? Say you were outbid and you used all your credits on another auction. When they drop the current hight bidder what happens to the other auction you bid on(saying you used them all)?

I just showed this to my husband, he was impressed! Unfortunately the version he uses we got from a friend who bought the educational copy, and shared it with us, so I didn't have the time to read all the posts, but evidently the version we have, which is this one, and an educational copy (that means about nothing, really) CAN be installed on more than one computer, since she has it and we have it, same copy. this has probably been covered already, lol, but three pages of comments, most of which are irrelevant.....yeah, GREAT AUCTION!! Want me to put our wii up to bid on, lol? I think my husband would kill me! we only have one, too, unlike all the other systems that we have two each of ; )
