Not real sure if i know what you mean by a 3rd party controller,it was with the unit when i got the unit and games so i am assuming it's original and no 3rd party

yeah the N64's were great my mother still has hers and it is that i know of and remember over 10 years old and still works like new.As for me its better than new systems,i have went thru 4 ps3's in a years time lol

@Jimmy10: "3rd party" refers to a product not manufactured by the original company. In this sense he is referring to the fact that the controller does not look like a normal SNES controller. Regular SNES controllers have smoother ends and they should say "Nintendo" on the center above the START and SELECT buttons. My guess is that it is a 3rd party controller by looking at the pictures, which isn't a bad thing but some people do care about that bit of information. Hope that helps.
