Description

The listing, MICHAEL JORDAN 1992 TOPPS ARCHIVES ROOKIE Baseketball Card #52 Chicago BULLS has ended.

This is a very popular Michael Jordan Topps Rookie card.
Michael Jordan is probably the greatest basketball player of recent years. This card is called a rookie because as far as I know it is the first TOPPS card that was produced for Jordan. Not to be confusing but the Fleer card company did produce a rookie card for Jordan back in 1986. That is not Michael's Rookie year for playing basketball but it was his first Fleer Card. There is a big difference in value as the earlier card is worth a lot more. The 1986 Fleer rookie at one point was worth about $1,000. While the Topps Rookie has been climbing in value it is NOT worth anything close to the Fleer RC. Don't miss out on getting his Topps rookie card.

You are getting the exact card shown in the picture. I'm not a card grader but I think the card is in decent shape but it is not gem mint as there is a very slight ding in the lower left hand corner so please look closely at my picture and make sure this card fits your collecting needs.
Shipping is free in a plain envelope. Card will be in a top loader or card saver to protect it. At your option, I will ship in a bubble envelope but you will have to paypal me $2.75 to cover the shipping.
Thanks to everyone who has bid on my previous items. I appreciate it. Good luck bidding. Auction starts at 1 credit. There is no GIT for the Jordan Rookie so please bid. It makes it interesting and keeps me listing more cards. Good luck to all !!!!

yes it is his first topps card but it is not a rookie nor is it considered a rookie anywhere! star and fleer are his ONLY rookies period.

I know this is confusing. I've been an avid collector since 1965 and the definition of rookie card has changed so many times over the years it isn't funny. Even the Beckett price guide has changed back and forth on what they consider a rookie card. I would advise collector's to use there own judgement.
Me personally, I like Topps. I feel like they are the one card company I could depend on over the years. Some of the other card companies have come and gone or they combine companies. SO to me the card I want to collect is the first TOPPS card of a player. To me, that's what the rookie card is. Others I am sure will have their own definition and that's just fine.
Again if you can't afford the big dollars for the 1986 fleer rookie card then having Jordan's first TOPPS card would be a nice addition to anyone's collection.
