I live in Ohio will these grow in a pot or flower box?, how long til they bloom?

they will but you would only want to put 2 or 3 seeds in depending on the pot box size, they get about 3 1/2 ft tall foliage is bushy, soft like lettuce about 45 to 60 days depends on the weather, i have seeds that fall out in the flowerbed here, they start coming up the first week of march but dont usually have flowers till end of may, the hotter it is the faster they grow

yes they are, if you dont pick and let them run their course, the tops form into a bulb like shape, when it is completely dried out there are little holes around the top, hold stem with one hand and cut the stem with the other, tip it over into a baggie and the seeds pour out like sand, the bigger the flower the more seed i love these
