Well really not much to do plant the bulb and watch it grow every year they need no special attention. After the flower drop or get cut for a bouquet it leave a pretty leafy plant.

I Love peonies! Years ago, I moved into a new house that had beautiful peonies in the back yard that had been neglected, so I pulled the weeds that were strangling out the peonies. Just a few hours later I was in the emergency room, spent over 6 months battling a severe reaction to poison oak, that I learned I am highly allergic to, that even got into my bloodstream. I became a study subject at the hospital residency program because of the severe reaction that caused my legs to swell so badly I could hardly walk, all kinds of secondary skin reactions. Moral of story - let someone else tend to the weeds in your peonies, lol! F&W!
