The listing, iPhone 3GS 16gb has ended.

Soooo, after long deliberation, I've decided to list my iPhone 3GS. The original carrier was ATT. I have been able to jail break this phone and make it software unlocked. Luckily for you there are no more 3GS updates so you'd never lose your jailbreak nor unlock. Currently I reset to factory, so hopefully you'll know how to get back to jailbreak and unlock.

This phone is 16gb. No major scratches or damages. The buttons work perfectly. NOW, here's the thing, a few months ago I tried to make my SIM card work and it didn't read it. Before I reset it, it read perfectly, my friend was using it. I will try again to see if all is well again.

I will try to find a charger for this. My apologies if it's raggedy (I have an iPhone 5s now and don't use that type of charger) I am not going to reset this phone again. I'll just erase all my stuff I have on it. Essentially you could use this as an iPod, as it works perfectly. Or give it to a child. Or you could use it as a great prepaid phone.

You're also getting a hello kitty Speck case. I believe I have a clear jelly case. If I find it I'll totally include it.

I rejailbroke it to an untethered jailbreak. Now you are able to restart the phone without losing the jailbreak. There are no more iOS updates, so you won't have to worry about losing your settings UNLESS you do a hard reset- which I would not agree with due to the fact that the SIM reader isn't working and you WONT be able to activate it via Apple. Right now the phone is fully fictional with iOS 6.1.6, but the SIM reader just won't read the card. I tried playing around with airplane mode, it will recognize that a SIM isn't there, then goes to saying "no service" you can definitely get that part switched out if you take it to an expert. BUT I wouldn't try to do it yourself- UNLESS you know EXACTLY what you're doing. The battery like is OK, I mean, you can go for about 6-7 hours before needing a recharge. That's pretty typical with all devices of that age.

This phone is jailbroken. (An untethered jailbreak) I mean to be honest, the 3GS is a really awesome phone. I still love it. I actually was still using this phone up until 2012. Lol. Then my friend gave me his old 4. Lol. I just can't stand that apple puts so many restrictions on their devices. I understand that you want to keep the integrity of your brand, but come on! Hahaha

The thing about the new apps, is that they work with higher processors and such. This is a 3GS with iOS 6.1.6.... So although so apps will be able to work, idk about some of the high memory/process using apps. You can always try.

Yea, absolutely it can still be used with ATT. BUT I need to make sure the SIM reader is in perfect order. My friend who has ATT will be here in a couple hours. I'll update my post with info.
