Description: Very Stylish Floor Lamp by VÄTE.
Shade: Rice paper
Tube: Steel, Powder coating
Base weight: Concrete, Polyethylene
Diameter: 16 " or 40 cm
Height: 37 " or 93 cm =just over 3ft
Cord length: 87 " or 220 cm

This product requires assembly! It provides diffused light that shines good general light in the room. This one 'IS NOT' collapsible. It was designed by M. Vinka and S. Heimis. Weighs 5 lbs = 2.5 kg.

*Please note: The picture is to merely "demonstrate" the assembled product. YOU WILL HAVE TO ASSEMBLE THIS ITEM. It will be shipped NEW (unopened) with assembly instructions and in its original packaging. Let me say it again, it will be shipped NEW. Is it ripped or torn? "firecracker6348" has done well thus far intimidating potential challengers uncommitted to the ogling value here. Any challengers now must be fully committed to acquiring this special lighting piece. This particular lamp is the first of its kind to be auctioned on Listia. And with generous bidding its sure to make a reappearance like the other one. Admittedly this lamp cost me more and is more bulkier to ship. But fun should be priceless. Participation on this is like watching the PGA tour, but with more humor and action (often enough). :)

Sounds good to me. You should use something no higher than 60 watts then for softer lighing, like a 45 watt Type A bulb . You may want to try checking around your home to see how those bulbs are performing for reference.

Good deal. As far as "best" wattage goes, its really a personal preference thing. Some people like a lot of light and some people like just enough light. I guess it depends on which room and how much light you believe you need in it. As along as its Type A the wattage can be as high as 75 watts. Personally, I never use any bulbs that high.

Lets just breathe and be reasonable here. Based on the overall theme in your home, which style better suits your needs? Ask your husband, too. Or feel free to suggest another lamp. But don't do ANYTHING reckless (no it's not reverse psychology...well maybe just a little bit). :)
