Don't need them my self but nice and the price is not to bad. For anyone that is new to this. I tried it about a year ago and it is fun and easy to set up and start mining. It takes about 5 mins. And it will show you about how much you will make a month running full time once you have them in place and running. It depends on lots of things. Like how long you run them and what mine pool you use and the speend of your computer. But over all this is a good start

You need a bitcoin wallet to transfer to from the mining pool. https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

Right now the current value of 1 bitcoin to USD is $494. The rate goes up and down a lot I have seen it as high as 1 bitcoin being valued at 1000 us dollars and as low as 40 us dollars.

I really belive if you are wanting to learn to check out www.bitminter.com they are a good starting point mining pool for beginners if you are using a windows based pc.

I used linux so I do not use them anymore but I have used them on my windows based pc and they make it pretty simple. I hope this helps a bit; these devices that I have listed will not make you rich by any means but they re a good starting point to get you started. Bitcoin mining can be addictive at least it is for me I currently mine bitcoins a 2Thps.
