All you have to do is plug it in and go. Your computer automatically installs the drivers if they are needed.

Only if you use your phone as a hot spot. All you do is plug it in to the USB port on your PC and it will install the drivers. I will send a copy of the driver on a flash drive. After the drivers install look for available wifi connections and it will show you all of them within reach. This is a great adapter. It should defiantly work if your phone is pushing a hotspot signal.
