Hi Teresa, As an acoustic musician since the age of 13, I have played MANY brands and styles of Guitars over these many years and the Ibanez's - inexpensive line is definitely an under priced Guitar. So, I'm gonna have to put up a fight on this one Darlin' ;-) But you are on track in your interest in this particular guitar. Although they sell for $250.00 new they play like they are worth much more. These are known to be sent out with bad fret finishing and the edges are sharp. If you are a tech, you can fix it in a bit of focused time. If not though, a Luitheir well charge you almost the cost of this Guitar to set it up right so that it can be appreciated by an accomplished Guitarist / Musician. BUT,,,, I say so as well, Best of Luck to you... Mick
