This is an old vintage drunk hillybilly music figurine. It belonged to my greatgrandpa. He has his moonshine whiskey jug in 1 hand & his moonshine cork in the other hand. His lips are puckered up. It may be like that because of the music playing & its like he;s suppose to be whistling it. But no music is coming out of his lips . Its just for show I guess. the song without words that plays on this music figurine. But not 100 % sure. I've never heard this song before. It may be the song the figure is playing. He has on greenish looking breeches with a rope through his breeches as a belt. An old timey hilly billy hat with a flower on it. He doesnt have a shirt or shoes on. He has a long beard & long hair. The bottom has Mountain Dew & V.C wrote on the white at the bottom in the front. And the back of the bottom where the white is has music notes with the words How dry I am on the back. And the figure moves around like he is wobbling. The tip of his hat comes off & has a cork on the end. You can see after you take the cork out that its hollow all way to the bottom. My granny said my great grandpa use to pour his moonshine in it to hide it from my great granny. Lol. Its ceramic & the music thingy is under the bottom. So its easy to stash liquor in to hide it. Dont no how old it is. But my granny said its really old. She said the way you see him is the way he came new. He has a verytiny, tiny chip on the end of his hat & a little bit of paint has come off right next to the tiny, tiny chip. You can barely see the chip. looks like a little white spot. Other than that & being a little dusty from age he's in great shape. Shipping on this is free.
