Thank you for posting the extra photo. Its a good sized pendulum - looks like it has some weight to it with the metal tips... when dowsing outside for water or lost objects it is crucial to have a "bob" that is heavy enough that the wind isn't affecting your answers. is this a lamp finial...screws on top of lamp to hold lamp shade secure.......not sure i spelled that correctly.....

there is a hole at one end where a chain was which was removed im not sure how you could put this one top a lamp but if theres a will there a way lol

Can't tell the actual size from your photo. Do you have something like a quarter or dollar or perhaps a ruler to shoot next to it to give it some scale to tell how large it actually is? I collect pendulums and some of my spheres are tiny and other have some serious size and weight to them. Thanks!!
