Description

The listing, Antique crucifix made of SP spoons has ended.

Very unusual item..I have searched the web and found nothing like this ...it stands just about 6 3/4 high...the handles forming the cross are a beautiful style...the spoon forming the stand is marked Oneida silverplate..,the others markers mark are hidden...the figure of Jesus appears to be bronze or copper...this is one silverplate item I have not polished...will leave that to the winner if they desire..truly a one of a kind item...I will consider get it now offers, but not below the starting bid

are the arms of the Jesus figure attached? how is the body attached?
I guess in general, can you say how this was put together? thank you, Rev. Steve Lee. I would consider a GIN for 8500 w/ free shipping.

There is no nails in this at all so I'm assuming it's soldered and I don't believe there is a glue that would have held this together so long ago seeing it's metal on metal..it's perfectly clean in its assembly whatever was used...very well made...8500 is not quite what I'm looking for, it would be at least 10,000 w/ free shipping to cover the get in now fee but I thank you for the offer Reverend Lee..Donna
