Description

The listing, The Lincoln Bicentennial Coin Collection has ended.

The starting of the Lincoln Bicentennial Coin Collection:
Comes with very nice large notebook type collection folder
With five plastic sealed collection panels, each one has photos of Lincoln, and biography information about him and important dates and events surrounding his life and accomplishments, also the year in review which lists key dates and important events that happened that year in government, in the movie and music industry, in sports and entertainment, etc.

Four of the panels have 2 Uncirculated Lincoln Memorial Cents for a total of 8 uncirculated Lincoln Memorial Pennies, 3 from the Philidelphia Mint and three from the Denver Mint, 2-1979, 2-1982, and 4-2009, each one sealed in protective plastic within the card stock panels. Will make for a very nice starting collection of Lincoln Memorial Cents!

I uploaded lots of pictures that truly illustrate how great these panels are in this Lincoln Bicentennial Coin Collection! Will be a great valuable item to hand down to your family members!

Last year they were made in copper. Does this collection have both the copper and zinc cent? Either way I just bid. I love anything that has to do with Lincoln!! Very nice, f&w

As far as I know these are just copper. This is just the start of a collection, there are only 8 uncirculated cents on 4 panels. I didn't continue collecting them.

New to Listia. So, do you earn coins or points based on price you sell at?

No money, its set up on a credit or point system. Only money involved is when shipping charges apply. I still don't know exactly the credit to money equivalency ratio as pertaining to how many credits equal a dollar and so on. I just set mine at a credit amount that I will accept and let it go at that. Of course you don't always get that amount. You can keep from losing a lot of credits if you set the opening bid amount at a certain credit limit, then they have to meet that opening bid. You can also use GIN (get it now), like I did on this auction, in which you offer a set amount that you will accept which allows anyone to gin and win automatically without having to wait until the auction runs its full set number of days. Since you are new you cannot do either of these until you have been a member for a certain amount of time, I don't recall exactly how long that is. You are not allowed to offer GIN until you get your sellers wings badge too plus be a member for a certain length of time. You'll have to ask someone else about how long, not sure, but for some reason either 3 or 6 months sticks in my mind. I hope I have helped you out with at least some general info. There are a lot of nice people on Listia willing to help you out! I have had a lot of people who helped show me the ropes, have met some really fantastic people on here! Welcome to Listia and best of luck, you will be glad you became a part of Listia I know for sure! If I canbe of further assistance with any info don't hesitate to ask! Once again, welcome to Listia!

You are very welcome! Yes, it is listed under collectible coins. You can just click on me photo and it will get you to my Listia page and show you my auctions listed. Then down at the bottom of page click on view all. I have four pages of auctions listed. It is on the fourth page next to the last one. I have had it listed for five days already, but I put it up for 21 days so there are still 16 days remaining. Thanks for asking about them and I hope I have helped you to be able to access that auction easier. If you browse through all the collectible coin auctions it will take much longer to find it. Thanks again!
