Description

The listing, **Vintage Ford Model-T** 2-Set~Brass Models has ended.

This is a nice 2-set of Ford's Model-T. My Grandad had these as a kid and he said his dad had them as well. But they have been in my closet for years..
So maybe someone else will apprieciate them more than I do..

*Both cars weigh a good 3 to 5 lb (pounds)
*Car #1 is smaller than the other
and has a trunk tail that can open and close
*Car #2 is the larger one and has no truck with a knob on its hood
Hope yall like this auction!

Happy Bidding!!

Very cool auction--do either one of them have any markings on them?

Markings? As far as stamps, no there are no stamps (type of metal, year, date etc.) Markings as far as physical condition, there are faded areas and scratches etc. that naturally show signs of age. I hope this answered your question..feel free to ask anything!!

I found out that these are brass. I took it to Humanetics II with me (they are the metal suppy of the US) They said the weight of the two models are similar to what you would find with pot metal, but the signs of aging on the two don't match the signs of aging of a peice made of pot metal. Plus they told me that brass is famous for its natural gold color, and pot metal is also known as "white metal" so when aged this much, the surface would chip and expose large areas of gray. The models are worn and scratched but still consist of the golden color or a brown. I hope this helped, thank you for asking!!
