Yes, it works, but mine has a different stake ...it's metal not plastic like the one in the picture.

Yes, it works.....mine doesn't have the plastic stake though it has a metal one that sticks in the ground.....

I use mine in the summer hooked to the water hose for my garden and to cool off when it's really hot......sure comes in handy.....
