just to help the lookers it is NOT a HDD ( thats Hard Disk Drive for those who do not do the lingo) It IS a USB DVD ROM. you plug it in to a usb port and it will give dvd rom read ability to your system. many laptops today do not have a cd/dvd rom built in but much of the software today comes on a DVD not a CD. this gives you the ability to install new DVD and CD software on a system that does not have a drive. Hope this is useful in helping those understand what they are bidding on. BTW I dropped a bid on it myself, may not win it but maybe...
