The listing, The Liberty Bell - Very Nice Detail has ended.

I found this Liberty Bell at a Second Hand Store where many things come in from homes in the area that are either abandoned or the estate sales left overs.

This piece rings nicely has great details and has the crack in the bell and the writing on the bell. Two rows of writing above the crack and the words:
Pass and Stow
And what looks like Philada
And third line what looks like MDCCIII

I don't know much else about this bell.

The bell is two and one half inches tall and two and one quarter inches wide. The bell ring nicely. I am not sure what the metal is.

Is it plated with copper over brass or is it all copper?

Unsure of what the material is. It is very hard and I do not see any hammer marks so it may have been poured. Hope that helps. One side of the top wood is touching he side of bell and the other is not and I could not find one like that on Google images.
