The listing, AMAZING FIND-Authentic ww2 WWII Army lot , Hats, patches, jacket, belt, gloves, soldier records,Revised has ended.

-This Amazing lot was found at my favorite little church resale shop. One of the elderly lady workers there said all of this came from her uncles collection, these are all 100% authentic WW2 items, and all are in excellent condition. In this lot you will recieve everything pictured. The gloves alone i have seen sell for over 50 bucks, Thats why the GIN is priced at what it is because i know how much these things are worth. I know someone out here in the listia community would appreciate these as much as I do, and would make a great addition to anyones WW2 collection.

From another listia Member- Tunic and Visor hat are Vietnam Era, not WWII, the Khaki hat looks like the piping on it is Blue and Orange, if it is, then its Army Air Corp and a enlisted service hat from WWII time period. The NCO stripes are WWII- Korean war Era, the patch with wings and star is Army Air Corp- WWII, the other one with 9 on it is 9th Army Air Force, Stationed in England During WWII-Fought in Europe, Now 9th Air Force is head quarters is in South Carolina, 9th Air Force also Flew and fought in Desert Storm.

It could go anywhere from about $200-$500+ i guarantee it. Army resale shops have to make a profit but if you put it in an auction you could make this. And yes this is worth more than credits, id sell it for actual monetary value,

Hello. I am not trying to be a negative Nancy here but your grouping is not from one person alone...the name on the dog tag is different from the name on the tunic....also the tunic looks to be way later than WWII.....the lady you got it from may have been a little confused....best of luck to you thou!!!

The name on the tunic? (jacket?) is the same name as the dog tags. "Thomas" last name. BUT, the name on the jacket and dog tags is different from the name on the soldier records, so your right there, I looked at the pocket inside the jacket, and inside the pocket has a year in the 60's, so i think the dress greens are definately not from WW2, but everything else is. Thanks so much for looking = )

No problem! :) I know for a fact you can buy replica uniforms for around $300. And this looks like very good condition. All together this should fetch some $$$! Glad I could help!

I see he has his garrison hat, and I looked it up and I think all enlisted and officers had hats like the top one, but the coat itself seems like an officers one.

I'm trying to give you as much info as possible, the blue patch to the far left, I've never heard of it but it seems like an "army air corps" patch. I think each branch had a separate Air Force back then such as marines, navy, and Air Force do now.

It looks like an officers coat with enlisted patches on it. Honestly yes id pull it off of here and well it for real monetary value, sorry if I posted another post like this, it's not showing up on my ipad. But you could make $200-$500+ at an auction. Army resale shops have to make money too so theyll lowball you! You have the complete kit and I have never see a. Complete army uniform before other than replicas

Also I would put GIN at 500,000 or over, 250k credits is roughly $240 USD. This could go $500+ easily. Maybe not on this site, but at an auction or in stores yes.

It's ok, he might've ranked up a couple times and just didn't match it all together but the patches on his actual uniform >>> are sergeant patches (E-5) the ones to the side (( >> are sergeant first class patches (E-7) and his hat i don't know the rank to it but I know its an officer which is a lot higher. Enlisted scales go from E-1 (private) to E-9 (sergeant major of the army) enlisted do the dirty work while officers are like supervisors and mainly do field paper work, officers go from O-1 (second lieutenant) to O-10 (general of the army). Officers do get a higher pay scale and require 4 years of college before going to OCS (officer candidate school). That was a thumbnail sketch of ranks haha!

Sort disregard that last comment because it is wrong, he had an officer hat, sergeant first class patches on the side, and on his uniform only sergeant patches?

im not sure, like i said in the listing, the lady i got it from said it was from her uncles collection, now im not sure if/what of the items was his. Hope this helps, as i know nothing about the ranks lol. Thanks so much for looking, and good luck if you choose to bid. = )

How does he have an officer hat if his rank insignia is only a master sergeant?
