do you know where you put the games in the Gameboy Advance sp so I know when its in there?

If you look at the 2nd picture, at the bottom you see a black strip that is the game in. If you look at the picture that is showing the bottom of the system under the bar code the strip of black is the game. This is very easy to use.

Is the Gameboy advance the one with the flip down cover or the one without a cover? Or is it the SP with the flip down? Does anyone know?

This is a Game Boy Advance SP
If you look at the pictures where it says Game boy on the screen, that screen will fold down. if you look at the picture with the sticker it is closed up, with the screen down.
Hope this helps, sometimes it is had tell by pictures.

I got the answer to question if you are selling that GAME BOY ADVANCE its a GAME BOY ADVANCE SP and yes it will play Gameboy color games too I just looked it up on gamestop.
