It's a standard women's chain from Kohl's I would have to open it and the chain is sealed behind the box and I don't want to take it out of packaging. Thanks.

Don't know if chain is. The butterfly is stamped 925. The necklace was a gift from Kohl's my wife had me list. So it's whatever a chain would be that comes with these. Sorry I have no way to tell other than taking to a jeweler and having chain tested. But I can definitely tell you the awesome butterfly is Sterling .925 silver. Thanks Carl
