Dear Listia Co,
If you are reading this, which I always gather that you have eyes and ears everywhere, I do want to add that all of us Listians would love stability. The reward store used to offer stability but that number is now high. I know that it was a concern of yours because when I picked up my auction from your then smaller headquarters, you said that you were also concern with inflation.
While slow inflation might help an economy grow, hyperinflation will not.
We all love this site as an alternative to the other auction and gift-away sites so please help stabilize it.
Thank you,
Lilygaze

I'm new to this but how do you come up with that amount for your GIN if you can buy credits on listia $5.00= 4000 credits I'm just asking im I missing something somewhere?

First, I have been on here 3 years and never bought a single point. You are better off exchanging things for points. You will get a better payout.
Also it sucks but the inflation is really, really crazy on Listia right now. Used to be 300 for $1 when I first started. The best idea on rate for gift cards is to check Amazon gift cards from the reward store.
I'm working on a listia blog on all the info but been real busy.
Good luck.

Cool listia blog? I'd like to read that! I've been here since 2012. Credits are currently 1500-2000 per $1 (the experienced users on here gathered together on my blog page and we broke down the numbers for 2014). I totally agree with buying credits on here - WELL OVERPRICED! Never buy them on here! If you change GIn to 140,000-180,000 (reasonable), I'll bite. :) that's what I win them for. My last one was a HUGE one bcz of all the bonuses she added ($100 plus A LOT MORE!)❤️

At 147,xxx this auction is reasonable. 2 winners are happy with the same auction they won recently. GIN is totally optional. I have found that people like to GIN 99.9% of my auctions hence the GIN. But highest bidder wins regardless of where auction ends at so I don't care if it gets GIN or not.
Yes, I just started a Listia blog but have been super busy with the holidays, working full time, and school full time so I haven't updated it much. Message me again in like a month and I will let you know the link.
It is rare to find a cheap gift card auction nowadays. And if you do, grab it because it will go fast.
I very much like a healthy debate and don't mind your opinion but I honestly think everyone has their own formula on points. For example, I have been steadily upping the GIN on all my auctions and they have all gotten GIN. Currently, GIN are listed for 2500-4000 per dollar. Don't believe me, just check the Amazon gift cards from the reward store. See where they end and you can have a good idea of what points are worth. Look at how the points on items in the store are up and up from even the beginning of the year.
The current Listia trend is continual inflation of points. Unless Listia plans to do something different, by the end of next year, if Listia is still operational, then don't be surprise to see my auctions get GIN for 5000-6000 on the dollar. Again when I started 3 plus years ago, I had auctions for 300 on the dollar.

My auction offers a 100% positive seller rating and the auction is rare in that you can choose from a huge variety of stores. If you don't like the GIN, you are welcome to bid and if you are the highest at auction ending, you will get the gift ecard.
Good luck.

Gift cards are always higher priced during the holiday and demand as this is the amount people are actually paying for them. I've been seeing outrageous GIN amounts that have been bought right away so it's all a matter of supply and demand. But you have a great auction and I'm watching and just wanted to comment on the other comments.

Thank you for your opinion. As stated to the other Listian, I do like a healthy debate as it might open our eyes to information we might not have gathered previously. I totally agree about the GIN that people are using. It's the holidays so demand is high.
My auction starts typically at 499 so it starts off affordable to everyone. :-)
Good luck.

The GIN may be outrageous but I certainly agree with many things you say. Amazon certainly has a HIGH bidding war over it (something I really could care less about as I do not shop there). GIN is chosen on 99.8% of my auctions as well. I recently have added shipping fees on mine because I have spent so much on shipping free for the past year....
I enjoyed your new comment to "Listia Co" <3 and I "liked" it! Fanned for sure and possibly bidding in the end! Thanks for being civil and not block all our messages! You have a good head on your shoulders! =)

I don't mind a difference of opinion if it has merit behind it. I do, however, cannot stand people who just comment negatively only on the GIN when clearly the auction begins at a low start point and gives everyone an even playing ground to start.
Yes, I am hopeful that Listia sees the message; I'd like it to survive unlike some of the other websites I have seen disappear into the internet ether. Thank you for the like.

Merry Christmas:) I dont mind what the Gin is!!! thats the seller's business! and I find if I have the credits and I want it bad enough I'll bid r do a gin! And its up to the seller of what he/she thinks their items worth is!!! People do have choices to bid r not to bid! to gin r not to gin! dont like the auction then move on and find one that is right for you. f&w:)

Yes, thank you. No one pushes anyone to hit that GIN button. And there are so many auctions out there, why spread negatively when it's faster to move on to another auction.
Good luck.
Merry Christmas to you too.
