used singer serger, i got a new one for an early christmas present so i am passing this on toy ou ladies. for those of you who have never used one, this is a fantastic way to sew quality clothing, etc so that the seams look professional and hold up better.

this is almost 3 years old and has been in for cleaning twice and runs great. this model is 14sh644-645. this also comes wwith the instructions manuel but not the original box.

It looks simple, but out of curiosity can anyone who's won one of these bad boys tell me if it is user friendly? I found the tiny serger to be a nice experimental serger, but always wanted a regular one...the other was a little too flimsy and didn't always stitch all that well.

This is a Singer and they are very well made. Nothing flimsy about it. You can Google interpreters and see how well they do and last year's and years with proper maintenance... good luck..

Hey, this is a great auction...im 67 and ive wanted a serger since i started sewing at 15,,,other things were more important...i made all my girls clothes and making some od grandgirls clothes...like a frozen costume...she loves it and i love to sew...hope i win!!!

I'm new at sewing, but want to begin making my own clothes. Will a serger work as a regular sewing machine for a novice like me? I read somewhere that it is best to own BOTH a serger and a regular machine for clothes making.

A serger is for the internal seams and makes them professional and durable but can't do top stitching. For that you do need a regular sewing machine.
