Description

The listing, Well trained pet rock has ended.

The winner of this auction will win one very well trained pet rock. I found a pack of strays in my front driveway not far from the road. Fearing they would be hit by a car I took them in and found them quite intelligent and friendly, but due to city code I am not allowed to keep so many pets without a kennel licence. Most pet rocks require both a crate and bedding, but these guys are trained so well they need neither! No crate necessary because they NEVER chase cars, animals, or even the mailman! No bedding to keep clean as these rocks are 100% house trained and have NEVER wet in my house! But, to be fair, I must ask that you do not bid if you are looking for a high-energy pet. Despite being highly intelligent, I have never once got these guys to perform a trick on command (besides "stay," they are very good at that one) and they HATE going for walks (they must've been traumatized from their time in my driveway as they refuse to step outside on a lead.) I must limit each winner to one as I cannot seem to tell males from females I am sure you don't want a litter of cinders! These little guys are free (shipping provided) to good homes ONLY! If you think this auction is silly, simply do not bid. *Pictured are Bob, Tom, Slim and Frank in photo one, and Lou, the homebody of the bunch, in photo two*

I put up "found pet" signs when I took these guys in but wasnt contacted by any breeders and they do appear to be of different breeds. I dont think that if they did come from breeders they were very reputable ones. Either way, i find it comforting to think that they may have escaped a gravel pit!

Please let me know...My cats turn everything into toys....My dog is a German Sheppard/ Boxer Mix...and drops things fairly easily when told too, so I might be OK with him.

I'm writing this from my friends house right now and her cats are jerks. Tenma and Freya (those are their names) are a male and female kitty of average size and temperament and have been having a great time batting these poor abused rocks all over the place! The rocks don't seem to mind, but I'm keeping an eye out in case they display any aggression.

Nothin worse than a mutt! I assure you, while I don't have their pedigrees any reputable geologist can verify these are "purebred" minerals!!!

A very amusing auction!!! LOL Have you every done stand up comedy? My hubby and I were pretty sure we were not going to get another cat because we were very sad losing them when they cross the rainbow bridge. We are getting tired of the responsibility of pets that need stuff like food and vet care etc. We were sure we were just going to get a pet rock. We were fine for 9 months and then we broke down and rescued a cat. She "WAFFLES" is quite the handful. She meows all day, wants patting several times each day etc. I assume the Rocks don't need petting or vet care and they probably don't scratch the furniture do they. Do they act crazy are they cute, are they funny. The laughter and joy a cat brings is what did it. Oh well another 15 years and we will get a rock. Thank you for the laughter...really!!!

I wanted very badly to auction off a pet boulder, but shipping would be too much and I like that you can take pet rocks with you on vacation (not something you can do with larger breeds!) To answer your question I've never done stand up comedy (and aren't really considered a funny person, either!) If anything I'm just kooky and weird!

I wish there was a way to share videos or pics in the comments. It is the funniest thing when my dog tries to jump on the rocks with both front feet together in an effort to get them to squeek like his favorite ball!

Do not yell at or threaten your pet rock in any way.especially when wearing a half open robe, with curlers in your hair and half a beer in your hand at three in the morning. It has no effect on the behavior and your neighbors will think you are crazy. Also, it has been brought to my attention by a geologist that rocks do not poop and those are probably raisins. However, DO NOT TASTE THEM, there are many small animals that do leave little turds that look alot like raisins! I have made this mistake before!

These rocks are fairly large...Tom, the largest is 4" around. Too big for a cat to play with, but not so big as to injure the cat or small enough to be injured BY the cat!

I'll let you know each of their sizes. Tom is 4" around, Bob is 2.5x4, Lou is also 4", frank is 3", and Slim is 1.5 around and 2.5" long. My dog, Logan, is a large German Shepherd, so we make him drop them if he picks em up for fear that he'll choke. I can't imagine any problem with cats but I'm going to my friend's house this weekend and she has cats so I'll bring them along and see how they do.

If you win I will see if they dont mind coming to you in the same box. I cannot, however, be held responsible for any "accidents" as I am unable to tell the sex of these rocks and they may mate while in transit! Luckily as of yet ive seen no agession to indicate males vying for the attentions of the remales, so they may all be of the same sex

My german shepherd befriends rocks on his walkies and brings them inside. They dont seem to mind being in his mouth but I dont know how they tolerate being tossed about. The best part is when he gets angry that they dont bounce like a ball!
