Hi yes, how old is your daughter. I'm trying to find others that has what she has that she can talk to by phone or and Facebook. She needs to hear from other's there is hope yikes I'm going to start crying Yikes.. But you understand when they are flaring and you can not touch them and they cry because during that flair they loose hope , they want to give up, and sometimes they don't want to be here. I'm disabled too. Im going to message you the rest of this. thank you

Interesting I'm agoraphobic as well. I only leave the house for doctor's appointments. My doctor sees me after hours so the office is usually empty. The psychiatrist believes it had to do with the hypersensitivity to sound and light and smells. The store is the absolute worst. My dad does my grocery shopping and most things I get online. The worst thing was having to send my dad to buy panties and bras for my 8 year old daughter. Lol! I was diagnosed in 2000.

The kind of hearing aid I need is not available at CVS or Amazon or ebay unfortunately. But thanks for the information. I understand your daughters social anxiety. That's a real struggle. From 2001-2006 I was agoraphobic. I didn't leave my house for anything for 5 years. My doctors, therapist came to me. My kids did all the shipping that had to be done and picking up my meds from the pharmacy. It took 5 years of intensive therapy before I could even begin to slowly start leaving my home. I couldn't even checkmthe mailbox. My kids would have to give me an hours notice ofbtheir friends coming over...friends I knew for years! So I definetly understand. My heart goes out to both of you.

I forgot to mention...doctors sometimes use Lyrica for nerve pain. There are a lot of side effects with it. So be careful if they ever mention it. If you decide to try it, keep a dose of Benedryl on hand. It will stop most side effects. With me, I can't talk when I take it...literally! But it does work.

Thank you. She takes it already and many other pills. Its a hard thing from going healthy at 18 years old to having a rare disease that is not catchy or anything like that but very rare and then fibro hit her and during all that she ended up with major chemical and food allergy's and other health issues. To watch her go from ok health to needing a walker on bad days and pain pain pain is hard on me. The good thing is I can use the proceeds from these up for bid to by her scrubs and books. Her skin burns and she has to where if anything touches her its painful so scrubs clothes help her any how thank you for all the info

You asked about if anyone knew about anything for nerve pain. I understand you are looking for natural remedies when possible. I have severe nerve pain in my feet so bad it's hard to walk and is very painful. I've resorted to using neurontin. (I'm not sure how to spell it cuz i get generic) This is just one of my many health problems. This medicine does work great but it does make you sleepy. I lost my hearing in July and it is so frustrating that medicade and Medicare doesn't cover hearing aids. They'll cover dentures which frustrates me. You don't need those to eat. If you don't mind I'd like to share my Go fund me page here. If you block it I will understand. Gofundme.com/bo9blc It's to help me raise money to get a hearing aid. I haven't had much luck. But if you and others could just spread the word I would greatly appreciate it. Also, thanks for listing these groups available. I wasn't aware of them. I have chronic back pain from a car accident 24 years ago along with severe arthritis and many others. The only groups I knew of are substance abuse that my youngest son Brandon went through for years and bereavement sites because I lost him a little over 2 years ago. Since I don't drive these groups you have shared will greatly help me. I thank you. I understand the pain your daughter goes through. How old is she?

She is 19 and she is on lyrica, She was on nurortin before but did nothing so she had to stop. We do not have a car also so I have to to walk a lot and take a bus. She always have to have a bottle of benedryl to stop her allergic reactions because she cant breath she has to take 25 ml then if it do not stop it take another 25 ml. Yes Im in all the groups but my daughter has social anxiety so its work in progress for her getting in them. If you have adhd I have groups for them and depression I'm really good at researching as my daughter has a rare disorder that there is not alot of info on so I had to find everything that I could out about it. Any how CVS depending on how bad your hearing loss is and ebay has hearing aids helpers that may work and do not cost to much. Medicaid do not cover nutrition specialist which my daughter tested IGG blood test for over the top in all groups of food to where she is lacking badly is everything. Its sad I have to get a primary to fill out a long form to get her approved and I do not know how long that will take any how take care

I'm coming up with a few idea's on making them, They are pretty. The ones I can make are flat and not round. They take hours to do depending on how many strings you use. Im trying to figure a way to make them so you can take them off , but work in progress. I have adhd so my mind is always going. Its a curse and blessing at the same time Funny thing is half the time I forget unless I write it down all my grad ideas lol

BTW ladies there is a great women's support group on Facebook called Women With Fibro if you need it. There are others too I just don't like the ones that try to sell a ton of expensive nutritional supplements so this is a good group.

I have Fibromyalgia and Lupus and now we are having my 8 year old daughter tested because she is starting to show symptoms. My 19 year old son was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 8 and runs a high risk of developing Fibro as well. But refuses to be tested. Stubborn male. So the odds of my daughter having one of the hereditary diseases are pretty high. But we are at least better prepared this time around. Much more support than a few years ago even.

Wow so young that has to be hard, you guys are not alone and if you need anyone to talk to let me know I'm good at just being a person to chat with that understand and I have compassion. I use to be a cna and miss it but can not handle the stress it caused because I put all I had into my job and was the best of caring for others. My heart had found a place for me but I had to give it up a long while ago. my daughter right now is having a few good days we go through this cycle where its all good and maybe its gone for good them ughhhhh. Its the life of fibro. I hope your daughter some how dose not have this its so hard on young people and your son he needs to get tested but he is just at that age where he wants to be free I know its hard. That is my daughter she wants any other condition that can be cured any how I hope we can all chat more as right now my daughter only has me for support.

That would be great , my daughter wants to add everyone from this listing to help build friendships and, to be able to talk with everyone so she can be more sociable. She is shy but a really great girl. She needs to reach out to start communicating with others that can understand what she is going through as its hard on her because she is so shy. Ant how we got to get ready for doctors apt talk soon and have a great after noon. The group would be great for both of us to join thank you

I have fibromyalgia as well, along with lupus, degenerating bone disease, and the list goes on. I also am allergic to the medication they give you for the fibromyalgia. Needless to say I am in constant pain 24/7/365, with very little relief. I am suppose to have a pain pump put inside me to pump meds straight to my spinal cord at all times, but waiting on insurance will kill a person! Sorry for the long comment, that's why I like and want this. Do you have more?

Yes delicate, beautiful and freedom to fly. She was 18 when she got Mastocytosis which is rare but she has very rare on being in her tummy then fibro hit her like fright train. She is almost 20 and has to use a walker on her bad days. Getting through allergic reaction's and flares have been tough but also a butterfly is strong!!!! She has other medical issues. I'm going to try meditation music to help her through her flares. if want to talk any time you can message me in email. Any time I do not mid. Thank you I hope that your day is a great day for you!!!!
