our old xbox had the red ring of death all of a sudden one day I was soooo irritated because I rarely played it. We had to buy a new one because it wasn't under warranty too so I feel your pain.

you should be able to bid again as long as your credits are not being bid on another auction it will tell you how many you have avail on "My Listia" page on bottom left side of the page. This controller will most likely go for a few thousand credits so I wouldnt get your hopes up if you are only starting out with the credits given when you signed up. You can list auctions to accumulate credits and don't worry if you don't win my auction, there are always other auctions with xbox controllers listed on here.

I take great care with all of my stuff, I have NEVER thrown a controller out of anger just for that reason. I know that it would break.
