This is pretty new. I will go over this now. No it dose not come with remote. No its not rechargeable. I do not want it because it is not the way I want to train my pup but I also know for others its not a bad way. I just can not watch mine take a shock. This is activated by barking but it will shut off on own if its pro longed barking. For some this maybe inhuman but for others it may be the only way to help and for others it may work. It is safe I did try it on my pup and it works. I do not want to see rude comments. I will block you. I only used this twice so its new I could not keep watching my pup jump when it go off. It mostly scares them. This is not a super shock fry OK. This is to help train them and its not the only aid you should have. A good book and treats and a clicker, if its real bad you may need extra help but I know its costly. That is why I still have a dog that barks at everything. But will be working on getting him trained on my own. I picked the muzzle and clicker. This is just another training aid that could work as long as you use it right. If you need direction you will have to look it up as I do not think I have them. Ok now No one under 18 can bid and have a verified address. This is free shipping.. Rude comments will be blocked. The battery's in it should work as I only used it two times. I'm not gong to try it on him to see but last time it did work. These things last forever as long as you keep clean. I do not recommend leaving them alone with it. I'm not sure if its a good idea at all to leave them while you go out. You will have to check that all out on your own. I just would use it when you can keep an eye on them and train them using rewards. This will scare the crud out of them. Mine jumped every time it went off. Big dogs can use this one too. Mines 25lbs and it can fit bigger ones. You should be able to look up info by the pics, I took many to show that its still new

Yes I know I respect that. I feel its up to the person.Anyone that dose win this just make sure you watch them some dogs if you use for long times will change them and make them more fearful. So you need to really watch how they react and make sure you are in training mode way before you put it on them. You are pack leader and they trust you. Something may work for one while they may not work for others.

I was initially against these but my feelings have since changed since I seen Cesar Millan use one. I feel anything can be considered dangerous in the wrong hands. These can be extremely beneficial in some cases. Great auction!! F&W

Yes I very much like Cesar , he is great and I learned a lot by reading some of his books. I was able to pick up by watching my dogs actions that he can learn and wants too. He wanted me to be the leader of the pack. Yes in some cases but you really just have to watch your pup during this I was able to tell my pup is not right for this training. If he used these then he also warned it could harm some dogs more then help. You just have to be careful and pick up on their language and train from the heart.

I had to use one of these on my Dalmation. I was desperate. My vet told me to return her to the breeder because she was untrainable. She didn't jump when it shocked her--only one eye twitched. You could tell that it made her mad but everything annoyed her. With this collar and a lot or love and attention made her a fantastic dog. It didn't take very long, but it got to the point that we didn't have to use it. I gave it to someone else who had a Rottweiller..

I know I was told by a few different people that my dog was not able to be trained, And that we are not a match. But just like when you have a baby they are with you for life. He is my son and id never give him up. I will work on training him. My pup I guess is not made for one of these. I knew it would make him more fear full and maybe even distrust me. He barks out of fear and it has become a nasty habit. People, noise and storms, And he i has super sonic scenes he can tell when someone is coming when you cant even see them. Other people told me be gald he barks to alert you but I keep saying there is a time to bark and the rest no no no.

Be sure to give your baby a lot of attention and love. That was what helped with my Dalmation. She knew enough and could read us like a book. She could walk along behind the couch never pausing to pee or poop--but doing it anyway. She kept an icy smile on her face all of the time. I knew we won her over when she actually grinned and showed us her teeth. After that we were a happy, inseparable pair. It took a year but it was worth it. Leona became a virtual "show dog". We were proud to take her anywhere so was so well behaved!

Thank you , yes I am going to get my pup out more again and on long walks, you have to train from the heart and they have to know and trust that you are truly doing it from the heart. My pup in my son and I'd do anything for him. He sleeps with me at night because its only me and him. I been told it's not good for them to sleep next to you but he has been this way since my mom flown him to me when he was a puppy. He is my emotional support dog as I am disabled and Id like to train him to be my service dog but that is hard for me to do. My pup smiles and its so cute. He looks up to me to be pack leader as he dose this outside all the time by stopping looking up at me and making me go first- as I read if you walk in or out of your door and you are first out not your pup then you know he knows your pack leader and in charge. Its cute when he is scared he always makes me lead, sometimes he hyper and dashes out the door before me but I do not mind although I have to start being constant because pups do not like us to be unstable. I am going to start going by Cesar Millan ways as something i picked up from his book. He really knows dogs and understand them and loves his deeply. Im going to buy him a a work pack to go on him because it may help him on walks if he has work to do. I really do not understand that as all they do is carry a backpack like thing with weights in it but I guess they like to work or have a job. Thank you

I have a dog also that barks at everything we are working on training him but in the mean time I do use one just like this,it was a last resort and it works for us.when used right.I've read a lot about citronella collars and thought maybe that could work for your dog, unfortunately I tried one on my and didn't work for him.

I just bought a thing that lets out a noise only they can hear, But someone told me it hurts their ears. I'm going to try for a week and watch my pups reaction closely. I know if it will work or if it will harm from his reactions. I also have the clicker and treats so i'm just about trying everything. Now I seen good results with both clicker and treat training and that noise thingy and also the bark collar. Thanks for the heads up on the citronella I did not think it would work with him.

I totally understand. I had my pitbull when she was 4 months and abuse from her last owner. Training her was hard but I did it. Everyday. Gave her a lot of attention and sometime treats. She is 4 years old now and great. She is smart an a fast learner. It was hard work for me but watching Cesar Millan training and searching info online helps a lot. One thing that help me the most is to never give up on her. My husband and I is all she have. So you know it. She is loved and spoiled to the fullness. Never had to use this on her but the choke collar and clicker helps me train her. But anyways girlfriend, this is a very helpful to most people who do need help. Great auction though.

I'm not totally against them, just saying that people need to know how to use it.

I have a xs shock collar because my chihuahua barks at everything, I have a medical condition of unrelenting headache 24x7 and the barking makes it raise in intensity. I now have gotten to the point that all I have to do is show it to him and he will stop barking. I have been working with him by following Cesar Milan's training guides but he's a stubborn breed. You can not leave your pet unattended with one of these devices on them, and use it only if you have exhausted everything else.
