Vermeil is a more expensive version of Gold plated jewelry. It consists of a 925 Sterling Silver base that is coated or plated with Gold. Oh, I see you told her too...sorry.... It's very durable and more expensive... Already a fan and bidding... xoxo

Just noticed these are stamped .925 but you reference them as gold, gold would be 10k, 14k, 18k, or 24k markings.... Is it marked anyplace other than the .925 for silver ? Just curious because if not these are most likely silver with gold overlay. I also ask because I can wear gold but silver I cannot. And I really like this style
