Description

The listing, **WOW** Elitegroup NForce 570 Split-A Mother Board LGA775 ATX SATA up to 16gb DDR2 has ended.

**PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING**

So I had bought this MB for my home built computer (which rocked). One day I had an issue with the USBs not working. I brought the computer to the repair shop and they said my MB was fried. Which I did not understand because before I brought it the ONLY problem was the USBs. So, needing it back for my website business I said just switch it out. I paid a fortune for a new one and it did not compare to this one. So, when I went to pick it up they tried keeping this MB saying there was a core on the MB. Okay, I might be slow but I wasn't born yesterday. There was obviously a reason they wanted to keep it. Either there really was nothing wrong with it or it was an easy fix and they wanted to make some money off it. I put up a stink and walked out with my fixed computer and old MB.

So, being I can't be 100% sure of the condition of this MB or what would be required to fix it this is a Final Sale, No Refund, No Returns and No Credits Back. This is being given As-Is with MB, Manual & MB Disc.

FYI, it is not uncommon for a core charge, for replacement parts, it usually is a win win situation. You get a lower price for the part, and they get (usually) a fractional amount for returning the product to the manufacturer. The manufacturer gets the OEM part back to either recycle or diagnosis.

Yeah that I understand. The not mentioning anything about it until after the fact is the issue. You don't go the parts store for a new battery and they call you days later to tell you to return your other battery. They inform you prior to your purchase. This guy did not do that. Thanks & Good Luck :)

Original
No, it will have to be put in a different box as the flat rates just won't hold it and the packing material. Thanks & Good Luck :)

To - AmyCollier, I think your implying that there is a issue in the Bios, or the configuration of software/drivers. If all the USB ports failed, I would be inclined to agree with you. The problem I see is that there is no power going to the ports via the MB. The USB ports connected to the card reader worked (because they are being powered separately from the rear), a fair conclusion is that the power rails on the rear USB ports have failed. Why? who knows, and that is why a Tech would say the Mother Board is dead. Most computer repair places are swap and fix, as expected. It is cheaper to replace a entire mother board than to diagnose and repair components.
