Awww. That sounds super romantic. We're getting married next June and I've gotten pretty much everything from listia except my dress. That's the one thing we're splurging on. We were trying to have a fancy Catholic wedding but the church was trying to charge 1200 for 2 hours. Instead we're having it at a deconsecrated Catholic Church and the reception at an old glassed in gazebo where the hoity toity's of the day partied. Very chic :-) There's only a few things I still need. 1 is the favors ^^^^(for the girls) and 2. is a guest book. Everything that's heavy like the centerpiece vases we're getting at Dollar Tree.

I love it! You will have some amazing pictures in that setting! Even though we eloped, I still had a photographer take pics and wore a wedding dress, so that we would have evidence (and no one felt left out).

Anybody have any cool wedding plans that they want to share? My husband and I eloped to Savannah 3 years ago next month. We had the ceremony at a beautiful fountain at Forsyth Park and our witnesses were complete strangers. :) It was awesome! I ordered the fans for a bday party this summer, but they arrived late and we didn't get to use them.

If I eloped I think my family would shoot me lol. My mother didn't get any say or input in my sister's wedding b/c she lived back on the East Coast. She's coming down this weekend to help me with deposits (Though we were originally paying for our own wedding they decided to help b/c we had gotten the prices so low) and get my dress fitted. Jack even negotiated the price on that down from $1059 before tax to $835 including tax. Essentially he saved us about $400 because tax on dresses is EXPENSIVE. I could go on and on. lol.
