Description

The listing, I <3 Lavender seeds! has ended.

LOVE lavender and thought you might too! So I am sharing some of my lavender seeds with you! YES! YOU!
I use lavender for so many things: Lavender sugar, lavender candied cashews, lavender tea, lavender bath salts, lavender dread wash and so much more!!!
Try it for yourself! Grow some yummy smelling lavender for yourself! These plants are rather hardy and loves well drained soil and full sun! (Start the seeds indoors!)

The seeds will be shipped in a sealed plastic baggie and one handwritten recipe will come with it. I tie it all together with a cute little ribbon.
If you let me know that you are buying this as a present then I am more then happy to add a little note to it for you and send it right to the recipient!
It is packeged cute enough for a present, as you can see in the pictures. I send the seeds and recipe in a handmade envelope (they will differ from the one in the picture, since they are all made individually). The recipe is written on decorated cardstock. The print/decoration will also vary depending on what I have on hand. The seeds are placed in a little plastic baggie and then decorated as well, as the picture shows.

The first two pictures are of my lavender plants in full bloom! The third is of the seeds and shows the amount of seeds you will get! These seeds are from my yard. THEY ARE PESTICIDE FREE!!! I use my lavender to cook, so I am not putting anything harmful on it. I also only use organic fertiliser (read: my compost), so you can be sure they are fine to use for food-plants-starters!

Do you know what variety your lavender is? Beautiful blooms. I tried nice soil for mine, but finally discovered they preferred the old, unimproved clay soil. Lovely, strange plants. :)

Hello DRHeltzell! The one in the picture (where the seeds come from) is English lavender. It will bloom in spring. (Will not bloom the first year! Be patient with it) I also have an English hybrid (Grosso, the one with the long stems) that blooms just when this one is done. It blooms until mid summer....They need well drained soil and lots of sun! I have mine in full sun almost all day and rather dry! But they love it! YEs.. Lavender is one of those plants that does better when a bit mistreated LOL (well when it is an established plant that is, the seedlings need a bit of care of course) If you want to I can check if I have a few Grosso seeds left I can substitute... Just message me if you win. :) HOpe this helps!

I have these tiny spoons.. I wish I could give you a picture of them. I think they are smaller then tea spoons, but those are the ones I use for the tiny seeds from my yard.. The picture in the listing is really pretty close to what you get. It's the amount I sent out the first time I had this auction. :)
