Description

The listing, 3 - $10 McDonald's Gift Cards has ended.

$10 mcdonald's gift cards (yup, 3 of them)

the cost of gift cards has gotten too high so i am taking a stand (since listia obviously won't).

people are complaining like crazy about how high the cost of gift cards has gone. i agree.

the last $15 card i won from listia went for 100k. do the math.. the high cost meant my credits were worth 15 cents per 1,000.

this has to stop now. the only way to stop it is for sellers to take a stand or for you buyers to quit buying.

the gin is fixed. this gin is 47k lower than the current rate for similar gift cards. instead of 180k i am listing it for 133k

in exchange for a lower gin, i'm asking you to pay for shipping. (2 day priority, insured is $5.75) this does not include the cost of packing materials, gas and my time.

so complainers - if you can't say something nice, be prepared to be blocked.

i take paypal only. once you win, i will send you my paypal address. once you pay, i will ship.

please don't ask me to lower the days or to do a digital delivery. i will not lower the days.

nasty, rude, sarcastic or otherwise uncalled for comments will be hidden and you will be blocked.

you can expect to see all of my gift cards listed this way from now on, saving you anywhere from 3000-15000 credits, depending on the auction.

anyone caught reselling my gift cards at a higher price will be blocked and reported.

if you see someone doing this, please alert me, bring proof of such action and i will block that person.

have a nice day! fan me, i will fan you back...

Can you block yourself? Its ok if you whine/complain, but no one else can?

Location of shipment should be stated as S. Korea

Please hide my comment and block me, as I will not pay that outrageous price for shipping nor do I want to support your 'cause'! Thanks

At first I did hide this comment. But i just un-hid it. We are all entitled to our opinions because we don't live in a country like S.Korea. I am expressing a concern and you don't agree. That's okay with me. And that is the way it should be..

Have a great day!

Will you send codes so no shipping fee needed?

Not on this auction. That would defeat what I am trying to point out. Also McDonald's does not offer email Cards so you may have a problem with just the codes. The cards are sitting, on my desk, here waiting to be shipped.

I've used codes at Mc Ds. I don't see the point of charging shipping.

The point is not the shipping. It is the value of the credits. I will change the shipping cost and you will still see the same reaction.

You could also mail first class with insurance for $3.13...just saying for us poor people.

I checked your listings.. you are not poor :) However, you are right I could ship it First class, with no insurance for less money. Again, not the point really. My point is that a $10 card selling for 80K credits makes the value of those credits worth 12.5 cents per thousand. If I could replace those those same 80K credits for $10 I would not have created this listing.

You should not judge By what you see, I support a family of 4 on $1312. a month without any government help. I am poor but I'm also good at trading and swapping to make extra. The iTunes cards I get go on my bill for my phone so I pay that later in order to get what I need now. I bake my bread from scratch and the only new clothes I've gotten in years came from here or other trading. I swap in and out to give my family what they need and extras as well. If inflation was fair I would make $15 dollars and hour as the price of housing and food goes up twice the rate of minimum wage. But alase life is not fair and here we are with inflation everywhere.

I agree with you about the $15 thing for sure. I lost my job 2 weeks ago and found out that in AZ, where I live, you can only collect $240 a week. That is like making $6/hour. 2 of my grandchildren live with me and my 15 year old grandson can eat $200 of groceries in a minute..

I guess that is why I am so sensitive about the value of the credits. I have paid cash for the items I list and to get that back, well people won't pay that much in credits for new things, just for gift cards.

I wish you well, surshot. We don't have to agree on this and I am not judging you. Please don't misunderstand the reason I am concerned.

Have a great day!

I understand where you are coming from. I used to buy gold on here with my credits so I could resell to make money. Now the prices are through the roof, but just like the cards they will balance out again. When I started two yrs ago I got 1,000 per dollar now it's 6000 per $1. I would get a ring for 11.-15,000 credits now 100,000. It all balances out.
