Limited Edition Yukon gold panning pan. Numbered..and sealed. Contains a packet of gold to pan for. Some rust showing (see photos please) from still being sealed.

Hi, Nancy! Great auction! I spent a month with some friends of mine panning all along the 49er's trail in CA. It was so much fun camping along the rivers and spending our days panning for gold. We found quite a lot of placer gold, as well as a few nuggets. However, the fun we had was more profitable than the gold we found, once we divided it up between us! Wound up with a pretty bad back ache that took forever to heal, but it was totally worth every ache and pain! Thanks so much for this awesome auction! I'll bet there will never be another one like it here on Listia, too!!! Your auctions are always so much fun, with so many unique finds and I love winning from you! I'm not going to be bidding on this one, but I'm watching a couple of your other auctions. Oh my. Takes me back to when I was a little girl nigh knee high to a grasshopper when my dad used to take me up to the mountains. He worked all the time so when we went camping was really special. I remember the first time my dad taught me to pan for gold and I saw my first bit of flowering color. I was so excited. I would love to win this for him and remind him of the few but precious times I had as a young child with him. Thank you for listing such a beautiful and memorable gift of times gone by.

I absolutely loved your memories of your growing up years with your Dad! I bet seeing the Gold Panning dish would spark a lot of smiles and memories within him, my fantastic friend. Those are wonderful memories sweetie! My Dad is gone but I shared the same adventures as you did.
