The listing, RG STAMPED Vintage Earrings has ended.

This is a pair of Gold earrings, I dont know much about them, got them as a gift from my previous mother inlaw but never wore them, been lying in the safe for the last 5 years.

I dont know how many carat gold they are, I know she told me but I honestly cant remember.

They are stamped RG, tried to get a good picture of the stamp but its so small and I dont have a proper camera.

I AM ALWAYS OPEN TO GIN OFFERS BEFORE BIDDING STARTS :-)

As described above and what you see is what you will receive. I only mail out to Listia verified mailing addresses to keep shipping free.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Delivery could take up to 30 working days but it’s usually a lot less, the reason it takes so long is because I am in NAMIBIA, AFRICA. They could also be the markings of a makers mark. RG is used for the maker of a Jewelry. Either way still beautiful. And would be wonderful gift NEW YEARS NIGHT....

If they are real gold they should be stamped some where on them what kt gold they are like 10kt or 14kt can you see what they are stamped

hi im a 44 yr old disabled man from essex maryland i just wanted to say awesome auction i used to have these when i was in highschool i know guys with earings bad deal but im disabled so i wanted to be me and my mom let me so now i have both peirced want both sides pierced again but cant pay to get it done

RG means rolled gold ,it's a thin sheet of gold laminated to a lesser metal like brass see this in a lot of vintage jewelry.

Thanks so much for the input, much appreciated, I also see that they say it lasts a lifetime. Wont tarnish of get ugly, much better than plating. These are indeed very old and they still look beautiful :-)

Rolled gold is a nice way to say gold plated

that is incorrect, plating wears off, rolled gold lasts a lifetime

Rolled gold has much more gold to it then plated. And it doesn't wear off like plated either...

thanks so much for saying that, been getting really frustrated with people thinking this is cheap plated earrings :-) They are so pretty and will last forever, I have had them for 5 years and my mother in-law had them before that. not a single mark on them.
